About Lapeer Steak and Seafood

A RESTAURANT AND BAR SERVING THE FINEST CUTS OF STEAK AND FRESHEST SEAFOOD

Lapeer Steak and Seafood is one of the steakhouses listed in Alpharetta, Georgia. The business is registered at 12 N Broad St, Alpharetta, GA 30009; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 5–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (678) 691-9400. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is lapeersteak.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 438 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded steakhouses in Alpharetta.

It was my first time at Lapeer and I am so glad I went. I sat at the bar and Richard made me feel right at home. The banter was fantastic and his service was just the right amount. Hospitable but not overwhelming at all for a dinner to myself. I ordered the filet and shells and cheese. It was fantastic. Steak cooked to my desired temperature, my allergies respected on the ticket, and all of the flavors worked really well together. I was very happy with the presentation of everything, including stemware, and the overall aesthetics and mood of the restaurant. I look forward to bringing more family and friends here in the future. Thank you Richard, for making my first experience here such a great one!

We have been wanting to try Lapeer Steak & Seafood for several years, and somehow we never made it there. Now we feel like we missed out on a hidden gem all this time. We originally planned to have dinner, but decided to start with drinks and appetizers at one of the high-top tables in the bar. Our server, Skylar, answered my one million questions about the menu and cocktails like a pro. Thank you, Skylar! You made our first visit even more enjoyable. Before going, two things consistently stood out in the reviews: people mentioned the prices being high, and they praised the service. While the prices aren’t inexpensive, everything we ordered was absolutely worth it. The service is outstanding, and that elevates the entire experience. This isn’t just dinnerβ€”it’s a true dining experience. The ambiance, cocktails, food, and staff all came together perfectly. We enjoyed Skylar so much that we decided to stay at our high-top for the entire evening. The only thing I’d mention is that the bar area became fairly crowded once guests started waiting for tables and ordering drinks. If you’re looking for a quieter dinner, a regular table or a weekday visit might be a better option. I started wi

Held my 50th birthday dinner at Lapeer over the weekend and what an outstanding experience. First, big thank you to Louis the owner for accommodating 12 guests several days before the date. Probably can't do this all the time, but truly appreciated! Second, the staff was amazing. Our server was on point the entire night handling a bunch of fools that had been drinking all day. I wish I had gotten her name! Also thank you to the manager Katie for taking care of us, really top notch service. The food was out of this world. We had several orders of the calamari, shrimp, and the carpaccio for appetizers. Then we all had steaks ranging from the ribeye to filet to the wagyu strip. So damn good, as one of my buddies from out of town said "best damn steak I have had in a long time." I have been here for anniversaries and NYE in the past, but this was a hell of a way to celebrate my birthday. Highly recommend Lapeer!!

Pushing it on price, really pushing it. Tasty recipes, creative touches, inventive selection (except for the steak, of course). But be prepared for $38 chicken entrees, $69 halibut, $17-29 appetizers, and most steaks $80+. The latter isn’t that unusual but the chicken and halibut entrees (justified or not) will slap you in the face. Would I return? Yes, so long as I have a wheelbarrow of money in tow. Get the wedge salad = vinegar overlay is brilliant touch. Signature seafood toast is a generous, tasty app that you could easily eat as a meal, if you choose. Light, airy setting which is a nice change of pace for a steakhouse-centric, seafood-blended restaurant. Servers are skilled and knowledgeable, but note that they also come off as motivated to sell you something rather than motivated to get you to step out of your comfort zone. Go now, not later, because price strategy will not last through a recession.

LaPeer Steak & Seafood in Alpharetta absolutely delivered. We started with the raw bar and lobster salad, and everything was fresh, clean, and beautifully presented. The oysters were ice cold and briny in the best way. The lobster was dressed perfectly, not drowning in sauce, just enough to highlight the flavor. The pasta with clams was a sleeper hit. Creamy but not heavy, balanced heat from the chilis, and the clams were cooked right. No rubber. That matters. The steak was the star. Cooked properly, rich crust, finished with a generous topping that pushed it into steakhouse luxury territory. The sauce pooling on the plate was begging for bread. The roasted onion on the side was a nice touch. Atmosphere feels upscale without being stiff. It’s a great spot for date night, business dinner, or just treating yourself. If you’re in Alpharetta and want legit steak and seafood without driving into Atlanta, this place holds its own. Would absolutely go back.
